In 2005, I decided to expand and offer a mixer hire service with the intention of providing an efficient, reliable service using drivers experienced in the hire sector of the industry - Michael Bedford

Our drivers are fully-trained in all aspects of readymix concrete delivery and are also familiar with the delivery of more specialised products such as Gyvlon.

The advantage to having previously worked within this field is that the drivers have had the opportunity to operate out of a large number of different plants and in doing so have formed a positive working relationship with many of the plant staff.

All the drivers hold an Epic Drivers Skills card. The hire business is based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire so enjoys a central position and is within reasonable travelling distance of many different regional plants. The truck supplied is a Mercedes Benz fitted with a six cubic metre capacity Hymix barrel.

We aim to provide a cost effective service within a competitive market and to achieve this we have included travelling time in the minimum ten hour daily hire period unlike our competitors. The advantage being that if work at the plant tapers off towards the end of the day our vehicle could be released early and the cost of the hire would be just ten hours instead of ten hours plus travelling time.
